*Featured by Apple on the homepage of the iTunes App Store.

Not For Tourists (NFT) in partnership with Tuft and Co. is bringing their award-winning series of city guides to the iPhone and iPod Touch. Next up is Seattle where NFT brings the best of the Emerald City to the comfort of your own pocket. With beautiful custom maps and thousands of essential Sea-Town listings, NFT will help you accomplish any task in just a few seconds including: where to find the best drinks in town, where to soak up the booze from those drinks at 3 am, meet like-minded scooter enthusiasts, impress a date, get a date, take in some art and culture, mail a letter, visit a Spooky Coke Machine, and find that all-important cup of coffee. It's super comprehensive and incredibly fast. Unlike most travel apps, NFT doesn’t need to be online to work its magic. Whether you're on the slow "express" bus or dodging canvassers in Westlake, NFT Seattle City Guide will be there for you. If you're planning a trip to Rain City, this is perfect to app to explore the digs before you arrive.

FEATURES 48 Seattle Neighborhoods, 3, 700 Editorialized Listings, 20 Categories. From movie theaters to bowling alleys to stops on the S.L.U.T. to of course coffee, we’ve got you covered.

What the Press is Saying About NFT iPhone:

New York Times: "...the guide highlights neighborhood amenities like bicycle repair shops and community gardens."

LA Times: "The Top Picks are invaluable...the NFT guide is both snarky/fun and inviting...a welcome alternative to the $9.99 (and up) iPhone app price tags on other city guides."

ZDNet: "A good investment if you don’t want to be "That Guy" opening a huge map in the middle of Times Square."

Jaunted: "You'll be instantly comfortable navigating the app by fingertip; it's almost as if the books were designed based on the app and not the other way around."

:
You can't zoom in or out on the maps. The descriptions of places are a few words at most, and aren't helpful for deciding whether to go. Also, it doesn't have that helpful intro section that most guidebooks have (how to get there, what to bring, where to stay, etc.) Long story short, it may fit more easily in your pocket, but it won't replace the conventional city guide.
